國際網球超級聯賽（IPL）將於12月2日-11日開打，而賽事官方表示，瑞士天王Roger Federer將會在這場賽事中復出。
「他肯定會來參加的，他會連續第三年代表印度出戰，今年他代表的是印度ACE隊。這也是他傷病復出後的第一站比賽。」主辦單位對此表示，Federer將會選擇在此付出。
另外，不只有Federer會參加，小威也會出現在海德拉巴。
Ferderer自溫網四強賽失利後，就因傷高掛免戰牌，直到排名也下滑到第16，是自2001年後最低的表現。而本來預期可能要在明年才能看到Federer復出，如今能提前在12月初就看到大師風采，也是球迷之福。
